SMTP2GO

An SPF record is a type of Domain Name System (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain. SPF records help to prevent email spoofing and improve email deliverability.

Steps to configure Sender Domains on SMTP2GO

  • Log in to your SMTP2GO management interface.
  • Navigate to Settings on the left-hand menu, then select Sender Domains.
  • It will launch the Sender Domains page.
  • In the input field, type the domain names from which you send email.
  • A CNAME record will now be presented, which you must publish in your domain’s DNS.

Steps to configure the DNS Record on SMTP2GO

  • Log in to your DNS management control panel in a new tab.
  • Generate a new DNS record.
  • Choose the resource type you want: CNAME
  • Copy and paste the values from your SMTP2GO control panel’s Sender Domains section.
  • Save adjustments

How to verify your DNS Records on SMTP2GO

  • Sign back into your SMTP2GO control panel
  • Verify whether the domain has a Verified status listed next to it.
  • If you can’t see a verified status, your CNAME record can be incorrect.
